Hollis 150LX + DC7 Regulator

The compact and streamlined Hollis DC2 1st Stage Regulator is designed with an over-balanced diaphragm to provide progressively greater intermediate pressure as depth and gas density increases, ensuring superior gas delivery even under the most extreme conditions. The diaphragm membrane transmits pressure changes to the internal mechanism, eliminating the need for surrounding water to enter the intricate mechanism. This design prevents exposure of internal parts to contaminants such as salt, sand, chlorine, or pool acids, which can cause corrosion and mineral deposits, deteriorating regulator performance. Unlike standard diaphragm regulators, the DC2 has a secondary environmental diaphragm membrane that seals off the spring chamber, adding a second layer of corrosion resistance and preventing icing of the first stage. This allows the regulator to withstand the rigorous CE standard for cold-water performance.

In addition to its environmental sealing, the first stage has 4 low pressure ports (LP) with 3/8" threads and 2 high pressure port (HP) with 7/16" threads. Manufactured from forged marine-grade chrome plated brass, the DC2 First Stage Regulator provides the ultimate control over the internal air path for superior air delivery. Furthermore, the DC2 is Nitrox compatible to 40% out of the box and meets CE standard for cold water performance. Its dual diaphragm seals internal components, and it features a pneumatically balanced 2nd stage and an adjustable Venturi system.
